Majestic Moxham...

I first came across Moxham jewellery a couple of years ago on Instagram, and have loved following them ever since. The oversized, clean, bold, statement pieces are absolutely my kind of jewels. I don't think there's ever been one piece of Moxham jewellery I haven't wished to own since discovering them! I love the way they have merged leather and metal hardware together to create stand out wear everyday pieces.

Last September I had the opportunity to go to London and undertake a two week internship with Moxham. It was so exciting to see the stages of how my favourite jewellery is put together and made. I assisted in the making of an order for a well known luxury website, and I also got to attend London Fashion Week (as Moxham were showcasing their SS15 collection) and have a sneak peek inside the hustle and bustle of Somerset House, and look at all of the beautiful designs and creations the exhibitors had on show.

I now own 3 pieces of Moxham jewellery, (technically 4, as one piece is interchangeable and can be worn as a cuff or necklace) each completely unique to the other... and here they are...

Moxham x Three Floor 'Rhino Cuff'
This was from a collaboration with Three Floor in 2013. A real statement collaboration with a bold edge!

The 'Otto' cuff.
One of my absolute favourite pieces of jewellery.

The 'Roma' bell necklace.
I own ALOT of statement necklaces, but nothing quite like this one. This is a piece of jewellery I know I'll love forever as its design is so unique and wonderful.

The 'Arrow' necklace becomes the 'Otto' cuff. Nifty eh...?! So I have the option to wear this as a necklace or a bracelet!

As I mainly wear gold jewellery, I feel this year I would like to save up and expand my Moxham collection, and perhaps invest in some of the silver pieces too... so watch this space...!

Lilac in Winter...

I had my eye on this lilac duster coat in early Autumn but couldn't afford the price tag, so was thrilled when I walked into my local Topshop to find just one left at almost half the price and in my size!

This is the perfect transitional piece that will see me through season to season just by switching up my accessories. Here I've paired it with my brown fur stole, as I think the colours really compliment each other, and it adds a warm winter feel to the dusky lilac.

Statement Jewels...

As I have previously mentioned I absolutely LOVE jewellery and accessories. I have always wanted a piece of Mawi jewellery, but it is way out of my normal everyday budget and I'm no good at saving! However, this Christmas I did become a proud owner of a beautiful MAWI ring, and I absolutely love it! It is from a collection that was inspired by Art Deco and features Swarovski crystals.

I've never heard of this brand before, however I was so pleased to open this little gem on Christmas day. I think there's something so lovely about jewellery presented in a box, it makes it so much more exciting. I would probably never pick this ring myself, but I love that my mum chose it, and it's totally different to any others I own. I aren't a very 'sparkly' person so it's good to have a little change!

My designer treat rings - The one on the left is by Yves Saint Laurent and is from the iconic 'Arty' series. The iridescent stones shine purple or metallic green in different light.

The middle is Marc by Marc Jacobs. I love the unusual, unexpected shape to this ring.

And last but not least is my new addition... my Mawi!

Thredd Accessories...

Here are some of my latest T h r e d d. accessories I've made in the past few weeks. I love how the use of a proper camera (rather then my iPhone) has captured the leather and embellishments in lovely detail!

One off - This bag is made from a gorgeous grey squishy leather. I teamed it with a darker grey softer leather for a bold contrast, and featured this beautiful beaded embellishment.

One off - One of my favourite bags I've made. I love how the embellishment captures the light and has a little twinkle to it. This bag is also made from the same soft grey leather as the previous.

One off - The bright coloured zip on this clutch adds the perfect pop of colour to bring the printed leather and studs to life.

Ways to wear... Over the Knee Boots

Since over the knee boots are literally everywhere at the minute, and I haven't taken mine off since having them, I thought I'd do a post showing some of the different ways they can be worn. I love how versatile over the knee boots are, they literally go with anything!

I don't really like wearing tights, however this year I've embraced them more as they work so well with the boots.

These are some of my favourite outfits I wear my boots with!

This outfit is one of my favourites at the minute. I like pairing a flippy skirt with a big cosy knit and this Warehouse one is perfect. I'm a lover of animal prints, and I love monochrome, so for a jumper to be monochrome and animal print and in my size, I knew I had to buy it.

I got this leather biker jacket for Christmas, and there's nothing quite like a leather to throw on over any outfit. They are literally a wardrobe staple that everyone should own. I love the silver hardware on this one, however I am looking forwards to the leather softening up abit.

This outfit can be worn day to night, just by popping on a pair of tights and changing the outer layer. I got this dress recently from my work, from the Dorothy Perkins section. Dotty P's is not a shop I would normally go in, however as soon as we got this dress in Outfit, I knew I wanted to wear it with my boots! It is a really nice crepe material, and was a bargain price! (and I think it is now in the sale!)

I've had this cape for around 4 years from Topshop. As soon as I saw it in the Oxford Street shop in London I had to have it. I knew when I bought it that it was going to be one of those pieces in my wardrobe that I'll never want to part with, and I was right! I absolutely still love it to this day. I've worn it for meals out with a dressy outfit, and worn it casual as shown here with my knee boots. I love layering, so for me this is the perfect jacket, as it is roomy enough for a few layers underneath, and it has a beautiful satin lining, so it falls really nice. Throw on capes have been everywhere this season after Burberry sparked the trend with there Monogrammed ones. You can get brilliant copies in the high street, a lot of which I have seen in Topshop and Miss Selfridge.

I feel my boots go perfectly with this cape and jeans for a casual daytime look, even if I do look abit like I'm going horse riding!
