Grey Scale...

Coat - Zara
Jeans - Topshop
Jumper - Topshop
Boots - Topshop
Bag - Zara

These pictures aren't the best but I am absolutely in love with my new coat, and I haven't done another post since giving my blog a new makeover.

I know it may just look like a plain boring grey coat, but it is the softest mohair coat ever. I have been on the hunt for a plain block colour coat for monthssss. As coats are quite expensive, none have really caught my eye enough for me to justify spending a big amount of money on them, especially when Spring is hopefully on its way, and all the ones I loved were way over my budget.
So when I popped to Leeds for a little trip recently and found this £80 coat on special offer for £40 I felt like it was just meant to be in my wardrobe. The coat gods had answered my prayers :)

The leather boots I bought out of my christmas money after having my eye on them for a while. And I am sooo glad I finally got my mittens on them. They are the comfiest boots ever, and go with everything. If you haven't already got a pair of boots in this style I recommend them, as they are going to see me right through the next couple of seasons. They go with jeans, tights and bare legs. So basically everything... and how nice is the marbled heel?
Marbled, and plastic effect heels have been huge over the past season, and I can't see the style going anywhere soon. It just adds abit of jazz to what would otherwise be a plain black boot.

And lastly... my bag. My beautiful quilted, leather, squishy Zara piece of amazingness.
It's no secret I'm obsessed with Zara, and bags, and just all accessories in general. And I had wanted this bag for absolutely aaaaaagggeeees. Then as if it was meant to be... just ONE appeared in my local Zara shop last summer and so my mum got me it for Christmas. I had to wait MONTHS. But it was definitely worth the wait...!

Green Garden...

Its been a long time since I last did a blog post... nearly 7 months... but I've decided to give it another go and have given my blog a fancy new make over.

Anyone who knows me knows that FASHION is my true love in life.  I so miss having a creative outlet, and doing creative things, (uni feels like a lifetime ago now...) and it's not through lack of trying to make it in fashion, because I have tried so SO hard, but it hasn't gone to plan. So now I'm going to try and enjoy doing a blog, hence why I thought I may as well give a nice fresh new look.

The main reason I stopped doing it was because of confidence. But, I'm just going to try again.

So here's my new first post on my blog again... :)

Pinafore - Zara
Shirt - Topshop
Bag - & Other Stories
Shoes - French Connection
Jewellery - Mawi, Whistles, Marc Jacobs, H&M

These pictures were taken last year when we went away for one of my aunties birthdays. How beautiful is this garden? It was like a secret garden which overlooked a massive cricket ground, and it had lovely water features, gorgeous flowers and plants, an amazing pond, and different tiered levels to it.

When I bought this green pinafore from Zara (for the absolute bargain price of £29.99) I didn't actually realise how much I would wear it.

I literally don't think I've ever worn a dress/pinafore so much in my life. It goes with everything! I wear it with jumpers, shirts, cropped long sleeve tops... all sorts.

Although I do feel a bit like I should be working in a butchers in it, I absolutely LOVE it, and it has definitely been my go-to outfit this winter.

This ensemble is a bit of a bargain outfit... The shirt is an old Topshop one that I found when I was working in retail at Outfit, it was a maternity blouse reduced to £10 in the sale! And you can't really tell on these pictures, but it is two different pastel shades, its like a pastel green inside, with panels of sheer lilac chiffon.

The boots are my old faithful French Connection leather ones, which I've had about 5 years, and got from the York designer outlet for around £40! and full price they were around £150 I think?! They have served me very well, which proves that although I got them in a sale, even if I had paid full price, they would be well worth the cost per wear.

The hat is one I got from TK Maxx about 3 years ago for £12 and every time I wear it someone will ask me where its from. I love to find items in unexpected places, and sometimes I think I overlook TK Maxx when there are some bargains to be had there if you can be bothered to rummage!

(ps. please ignore my really awkward face, and my scrunched up face, my cousin was making me laugh! and these are the only images we took at the time, and as I am trying to work on my confidence I don't actually have any new photos to show yet! And I like the colours in these ones so thought I'd show them.)
